Eagle Warranty 1 of only 40 companies in PA to win recyling award! -- Posted by admin on Wednesday, April 18 2007
The Eagle Warranty Corporation—Institutional Recycling
This corporation is recognized for its attention to recycling and reuse in construction of a new building. Carpeting, floor tiles and ceilings made from recycled materials were used and large windows and skylights were built to allow for natural light and solar heating. As part of the move, the company also decided to go paperless, which substantially saves in paper purchases and hauling costs. Company employees also compost their food waste to be used as fertilizer around the building.

Story by Roger Dupuis II- Staff Writer for the Scranton Times
“Two area companies that garnered statewide kudos for their recycling prowess will be honored at this mornings Lackawanna County Commissioners’ meeting.
Cinram Manufacturing of Olyphant, and Eagle Warranty Corp., of Archbald, are 2006 recipients of the Pennsylvania Waste Watchers Award for Outstanding Achievement in Commercial Recycling, a joint project of the Professional Recyclers of Pennsylvania, the Solid Waste Association of North America and Pennsylvania Waste Industries. Only 40 programs in 19 counties took home the honor. Family owned Eagle is a nationwide provider or aftermarket automobile warranties and emergency roadside assistance programs.
The firm has been recognized for recycling and reuse in constructing a new building. Carpeting, floor tiles and ceilings made from recycled materials were used, complimented by an accent on natural lighting and solar heating. Eagle also decided to go paperless once they moved into their new building.”

Bobbyt Gerhart Racing accounces partnership with Eagle Warranty Corporation -- Posted by admin on Wednesday, April 18 2007

ATLANTIC CITY NJ (1-12-07) -
Bobby Gerhart Racing (BGR) announced today that they have formed a
marketing partnership with Eagle Warranty Corporation, an Eynon,
Pennsylvania-based company that offers mechanical breakdown coverage for
automobiles. The announcement was made Friday afternoon at the Motorsports
Race Car Show at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New
Jersey where Gerhart’s #5 Eagle Warranty Chevrolet was showcased in the
Eagle Warranty booth.

It was also announced that BGR will feature the company as the primary
sponsor in six ARCA RE/MAX Series events in 2007 as they compete for the
RE/MAX Series national championship, including the two stops at Pocono
Raceway, the closest superspeedway to BGR’s home base.

For BGR, which is headquartered in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, the
partnership makes sense on several levels.

gerhartheadshot2006.jpg“With
ARCA running two races right in both of our backyards it offers us an
opportunity to give Eagle Warranty great exposure in our home state of
Pennsylvania,” said Bobby Gerhart. “More importantly, ARCA has a
tremendous following throughout the country, which gives Eagle Warranty
access to millions of potential customers.”

Eagle Warranty will also serve as an associate sponsor on the team’s
#5 Chevrolet Monte Carlos for the remaining 17 races of the 23-race
RE/MAX Series schedule.

“We are very excited to be partnering with a team the caliber of BGR,”
said Sean Fadden, Vice-President of Eagle Warranty Corp. “We look
forward to success both on and off the track. This will help take our
company to the next level.”

Gerhart Racing, celebrating its 20th year in the ARCA RE/MAX Series
in 2007, is coming off its most successful season to date, winning its
fourth ARCA 200 at Daytona in 2006 after capturing a record fourth
consecutive pole award. Through it all, Bobby Gerhart finished a
career-high second in national championship points in '06 and earned his
100th career top-10 finish. No doubt, the team has a huge amount of
momentum heading into the 2007 season.

“We accomplished a lot in 2006,” said Gerhart. “But with the
addition of Eagle Warranty we feel we have another piece of the puzzle
in place to make a serious run for the championship.”

Renowned for their restrictor plate savvy, the Gerhart’s took
advantage of a three-day ARCA RE/MAX Series open test at Daytona Int'l
Speedway in December, where the restrictor plate wizards timed in fourth
quickest among a record 77 drivers that tested. Not completely
satisfied, BGR is headed back south for more restrictor plate testing at
Talladega Superspeedway in late January - all this in preparation for
the 44th annual ARCA 200 at Daytona Saturday afternoon, February 10,
LIVE on SPEED at 4 pm ET.

“Don’t get me wrong,” said Bobby’s brother and crew chief Billy
Gerhart. “The test went extremely well at Daytona. We learned a lot.
But we’re still undecided as to which car is going to be our primary
car at Daytona. We may use the same car we won with last year, or, we
have another really nice machine, a near replica of last year’s
Daytona winner, that we’re still considering. After the test in
Talladega, we'll make that final call as to which car we’re using. But
we need one more test before we feel we can make that call. We’re very
excited about the new season. And we certainly want to thank Eagle
Warranty for their support and believing in our program, which we feel
is very solid.”
