Does Eagle maintain a secure system for transmitting my personal information when conducting any transactions or requests on this web site?
Yes, absolutely. Unlike many of our competitors that will ask you to email your credit card or banking information, The Eagle Warranty Corporation will NEVER ask you to send your banking information via general email. Many pages that do not transmit any personal information or data over does not need to utilize this technology, however, if a customer logs in and clicks on the option to "renew" or "extend" your service contract, and once on that page with the options to renewl or extend, you can "right click" on the page and click "properties", when prompted with a dialog box showing the properties of that page, you can then click on the bottom right hand side, "certificates". A page will be displayed depicting that the highest level of encrypting security is used when transmitting your personal and confidtential data. The cost of this secure technoloy is fairly significant, but we believe that the security of your information is priceless in todays world.
